We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with expertise in Lithium Battery Management Systems to join our dynamic team.

Contract Overview

Seeking an Electrical Engineer who understands lithium battery technology and is proficient at designing and working with Battery Management Systems (BMS). As a key individual you will work directly with our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing the Next Lithium battery and BMS solution for our lithium battery products.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and validate Battery Management Systems (BMS) for lithium batteries, ensuring safety, performance, and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BMS into battery packs and systems.

Perform in-depth analysis and testing of BMS components and design, making recommendations for improvements.

Conduct performance testing and validation of BMS to meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Maintain currency with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to lithium battery technology and associated BMS.

Troubleshoot and provide solutions for BMS-related issues that may arise during product development and manufacturing.

Assist in the development of ISO-compliant technical documentation, including BMS specifications and user manuals.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or 5 years design experience.

Proven experience in designing and developing Lithium Battery Management Systems (BMS).

Proficiency in BMS hardware design, including microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces.

Strong understanding of lithium battery chemistry, charging, and discharging principles.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., UN/DOT, IEC, ISO).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Experience with Circuit design and BMS simulation and modeling software is a plus. (Altium, KiCAD, etc)

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple aspects of projects simultaneously.

An eagerness to stay updated on emerging non-lithium battery technology trends and advancements.
